"The Simmons family used to be a pretty well off family unit, probably at their best around twenty years ago. My uncle Isaac was the one with all the money but he supported my family and we were pretty high up in the social scale. Even when the business the family had gotten all the money from went tits up we were still well off thanks to all the money it had made. Then when my uncle died my dad inherited all the money. Firstly he spent loads of it, meaning we didn’t have enough to keep living our lifestyle for as long as he liked to think. Then he came up with the genius idea to start gambling and make more money that way. So he started gambling the family fortune and drinking it away until there was nothing less and he had a serious case of liver failure that we couldn’t afford to get treated properly. Well done Dad, you killed yourself and took the rest of us down with you. Yeah, my dad was dead by the time I was twelve. We were already living in a smaller house at this point and were pretty much the laughing stock of the town we lived in thanks to him, which only got worse when mum’s wages weren’t enough to keep our house and we moved down yet again, in fact, we moved right out of town. So now we’re living on a crappy flat in an estate covered in bird shit and graffiti.
I went to private school until I was ten then moved to the comprehensive when Dad started getting bad. I started having sex at fifteen, which isn’t too bad in this town. I lost it to a guy I was actually going out with as well. I’m all for the traditional values, or was, maybe I’m not so much now. So yeah. I didn’t get pregnant until just after I turned seventeen and, shamefully, it was thanks to a one night stand with one of the richer kids who'd been at the club I'd gone to in order to drown my sorrows. Of course when I told him about it he denied everything and left me looking like an idiot. A couple of weeks later he’d left town and I had the issue of school, my mum and now a baby. There was no choice for me – I would never and will never abort a baby. If someone else wants to, then fine, but I won’t do it. Mmkay. So as I started my second trimester of pregnancy I dropped out of school. I needed to work for the next three months in order to be able to pay for things for the baby, so that’s what I did.
Then after Harvey was born I, obviously, stayed at home and started being a mum. No one ever gives their mums enough credit, seriously. When Harvey was about six months old I went back to working whenever I could get hours so that I wasn’t using so much of my mum’s money. This worked really well for about four months until mum had an accident on the way back from work. It was a pretty bad car crash, let’s leave it at that. She’s now kind of crippled – her hips are slightly out so she walks with a stick and stuff. Don’t say anything about my mum, I love her regardless. So now mum can’t work and spends a lot of her time trying to work from home but there’s not much money in that. She looks after Harvey whenever I have work and all of my wages go into the household fund. That’s basically my life. I don’t have any brothers or sisters, we don’t have any pets. Hell, I only have a vesper as transport and I refuse to take Harvey on that. Mum’s car got totaled in the crash and the insurance payout had to go on her surgery. We’re not living on much, or with much, but I refuse to take charity from people. We can get by on our own.

HEY THERE, I'M PIXIE AND I'M SIXTEEN YEARS OLD! I'VE BEEN RUNNING AROUND THE ROLEPLAY WORLD FOR FOUR YEARS AND YOU CAN CHECK OUT MY ROLEPLAY SAMPLE BELOW! AS YOU CAN SEE, I'M USING KAT DENNINGS AS THE PLAY-BY FOR THIS CHARACTER. OH, AND MY OTHER CHARACTERS ARE NOT AROUND YET.!
"And you can laugh at how I laugh like Ross, when I get ner-er-vous" Lyssa sang along to her laptop as she raided under her makeshift bus bed for her blankets. She kept singing and humming along to the song until it switched to something she didn't know. With a small pout now on her face that no one was around to see Lyssa kept looking for the elusive blankets. Wasn't it annoying when you needed to find something but it was no where to be found? If it doesn't annoy you then you're not human, go back to Mars. Finally, Lyssa pulled out two large blankets that were actually duvet covers. Originally it had been a double sided cover - one side had Pikachu on it and the other had Charmanda. Unfortunately Lyssa had never been able to decide which side she liked best so cut the cover up so she had two big blankets instead. Smiling triumphantly the small girl bundled the blankets into her backpack and kept looking through the bus for other things to take with her. Lyssa was going to central park to meet Dell for a night of star gazing, weed smoking and alcohol drinking. For a sixteen year old she really wasn't all too innocent or well behaved, but than again with parents like hers it could hardly be expected. In all truth Lyssa didn't actually know where her parents were right now but that didn't really matter to her. They were probably on a bus somewhere, the last band of hippies in england, travelling around in a constant state of high or drunk. That was her parents lives for you. Lyssa hadn't spent a long period of time with her parents since she was about five years old, but occasionally she would get a letter through from them telling her about something completely small and pointless that had interested them and they had probably then sent to her. Last time the letter had included a piece of fabric that they'd found on a tree and thought was the remains of a murder victims shirt. Of course the whole idea was ridiculous, but then again so were Lyssa's parents. She had all sorts of weird things from them all sat in a box with their letters. It was this box that Lyssa raided quickly to find her bracelet. It was one of her favourites and also a bracelet that all the other girls seemed to want to borrow. She didn't just lend it out to people though, oh no, so she kept it safely hidden in the box. Clever Lyssa.
Next Lyssa needed to find some shoes, which could be a bit of a problem. This bus was filled with girls and therefore clothes were everywhere. People were forever borowing each others things and Lyssa was no exception to this. It took her a good ten minutes to track down her white sandals and slip them on her feet before putting her backpack on, sticking her sunglasses in her hair and leaving the bus. She kept humming the song that she'd been singing before, half walking and half skipping along the makeshift path that had formed between all of the buses. Lyssa loved being on tour, it was all about travelling and playing music and having fun. Then when nothing else was going on she could just get drunk or high and no one really cared because this was tour and that was acceptable. Plus, thanks to tour, she had Dell. Dell was her best friend, definitely. Even though he was older than her, she didn't care. Age never seemed like an issue to Lyssa, but her moral compass didn't really point north. She wasn't exactly a bad person, she just did bad things. Lyssa was actually one of the sweetest girls around but she just really liked weed and sex. It wasn't a crime, as such. Well, it was, but she didn't really care. "Ba ba da da ba ba daaa." Lyssa sang randomly to herself as she walked, playing with her dress happily. She was always happy, officially. It was probably one of the weirdest sights ever, seeing Lyssa cry. Sure it was actually quite easy, she was a sensitive person, but it was hard to be mean to her. One day someone would try and discover the temper that Lyssa secretly harboured. She didn't get angry very often but when she did Lyssa really got mad. That was probably quite a weird thing to see as well in all honesty.
Soon, central park came into view and Lyssa grinned even more. Dell, Dell, Dell. Lyssa loved Dell, in a completely friend way. Kind of. It was always hard to tell with Lyssa because she was so incredibly affectionate. She certainly liked Dell and liked giving him kisses and hugs, but that was just the way she was. Lyssa was desperate to fall in love and had an idea in her head of exactly what sort of boy she would fall in love with. He would be tall and dark haired and ride a motorbike and be really badass, for lack of a better word. Lyssa saw herself falling for a bad boy and being the one to discover some sort of soft inner self to him and then they'd go off and become hippies as well or something. In fact Lyssa would be crushed by her bad boy fantasy hero. She needed someone who could put up with her childish ways and be a kid with her. Her idea of love was something that made you fall over with the butterflies and made the world stop spinning and for her she thought the effect would be instantaneous and sudden. Of course love doesn't actually happen this way and Lyssa was in fact very naive. Still, no one had told her yet that things didn't work that way and until she had her heart metaphorically stamped on she would probably remain blissfully ignorant. Even though it was now dark outside Lyssa flipped her sunglasses down onto her face and adjusted her backpack as she walked into the park. It didn't take long for her to spot Dell sitting around waiting for her and the grin that spread across her face when she did could have put the cheshire cat to shame.
Without saying a word she crept up behind him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, smilingly gleefully. "Deeeellyyyy!" she cooed in his ear, pressing a kiss to his cheek then nuzzling her face into his neck. Lyssa giggled, kissing his neck gently next before letting him go again and letting her feet fall flat on the ground again. "I have blankets and some random bottles of alcohol and some matches and stuff so we can have a little fire if you want. Lyssa said excitedly, tugging her backpack off of her shoulders and opening her arms for a proper hug from Dell. Hugs had to be shared first before anything else was allowed to happen, alright? Lyssa loved physical contact. "Can we go into all the trees over there and find somewhere cool instead? So no meanie policeman come around and tell us off because they will if they see me. I look about twelve." Lyssa half giggled at the end of her little request. She did look young tonight, but in a cute and grown up way, if that made sense. Normally she chose shapeless clothes to wear but her dress made her look grown up, even if her goofy smile and long blonde hair reduced the mature effect somewhat. Lyssa linked one of her hands with Dell's squeezing it a little bit though the effect was probably minimal because her hands were so small. "I feel all jittery." she said, as if surprised by this. It was true her stomach was all fluttery and bubbly and her pulse was a little high, but she didn't really understand why. She thought she just needed a bit of weed to calm her down. With a bright smile in Dell's direction she tugged his hand so they started towards some trees for their 'adventure'.
