{ PULL ME CLOSER TO LOVE , }when all the buildings fall and all of the stars fade , - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Something about Downtown just made the stress of school, uniforms, and just people, just fade away. She wasn't much of a shopper, but she needed some new stuff. New lip gloss, new tops, new pants for the up coming cool season. Fall is one of her favorite seasons. The colors, the warmth, but the simultaneous cool. Kolbie was tired. Her feet ached and the heels weren't helping. Her arms were weighing down her shoulders and they really started to hurt. She really kid shop till she dropped. She walked up to a hotdog stand and got a, well hotdog, she squirted some ketchup on the mystery meat and got a bottle of water. She parked herself on a bench and set her bags by her feet. She took a big bite out of her hotdog and couldn't help but smile behind the bite. She swallowed and wrapped her lunch back up in the tin foil and put it in her lap. She took a sip of her water and wiped her hands off on a napkin and brushed her hair away from her face. She pulled her cell phone from her pocket and texted her mother that she was eating hot dog from a stand down town. Her mom just learned to text and it only took about, you know, 20 minutes, and her hotdog was already gone when her mom texted her back and just said "Kolbie, those things are made from not even close to premium meat and it is unhealthy for a young girl like you!" This put a large smile on the girls face. She saved the message and forwarded to her brother, Sam. A quick response came with a smile and a haha and a you're going to get yourself killed. She giggled again.
These were the times that made her childhood fun. So maybe her parents were a little strict, maybe they didn't respect her decisions, but they were a hell of a lot of fun to mess with. She looked through her bags and pulled out her lip gloss. She wasn't much of a make up person, but her lip gloss was a requirement. She gently smeared it on her lips. She threw it back in the bag. Wow. Feet still hurting. But bored. She sighed, quite heavily. She crossed her ankles in front of her. She folded her hands in her lap. She looked up and blew the hair out of her eyes.

MAYBE YOU'RE GONNA BE THE ONE THAT SAVES ME
AND AFTER ALL, YOU'RE MY WONDER WALLFall had to be Noah's second favorite season. There were so many beautiful things that fall brought along with it's cool weather. The trees were probably the main thing that he loved about autumn. Noah had an exquisite taste detail and where ever he went, he noticed the things that other people generally did not. The colors of the leaves were absolutely breathtaking and they made him grin as he walked along the sidewalk of the downtown area. Noah didn't like being cooped up inside all day. Instead, he tried to get out of his dorm as often as he possibly could. He was definitely an outdoors kind of guy and would have preferred a walk in the park to anything, any day of the week. Today, however, he was on a mission. He needed some new clothes, jeans to be exact, because his favorite pair had been ruined. He couldn't have even started to explain how they had been ruined, but they had been and now he needed a new pair of jeans. Shoving his hands into the front two pockets of the current pair of jeans he had been wearing, he continued his exodus down the sidewalk.
There were a lot of people downtown on that particular day. That wasn't something he'd have chosen if it were up to him. People were not really Noah's thing, but there were always a few exceptions. Naturally, being the guy that he was, people knew him. Whether they were students at the school, parents of the friends he hung out with, or just fans of the football team, people seemed to be noticing him with every step that he took. Half of the people that acknowledged him waved and he just gave his simple head nod. Noah Atticus O'Connell was not the biggest people person. He would not go out of his way to talk to a stranger. Why didn't people seemed to understand that? Did the douche-bag attitude he portrayed at school not send out that particular vibe to people? He needed to work on that. He didn't understand people that well and he really didn't want to.
The sun was warm and welcoming. That was another reason he loved the fall so much. It made things look a lot better than they were. Trudging his way down the sidewalk, he stopped in front of one of the shops he wanted to go into. Though, before he could go inside, someone caught his eye. Ah, little Kolbie MacKenzie. She was one of those girls that Noah went weak in the knees for, though, he didn't really understand why. Sam and Noah had been friends for quite some time and yet, he seemed to have taken quite a liking to the youngest of the MacKenzie children. She was offlimits and that was probably why he liked her so much. With a grin, he plopped himself down on the bench next to Kolbie and kissed her cheek. Ah, kiddo. Why is it a girl like you is sitting on this bench all by herself? Where's your brother? he asked before he surveyed the area. The MacKenzie children were almost inseparable, so it was odd seeing them apart. Did he ditch you? notes mkay. here we go with our epicness. tagged kolbie <3 lyrics wonder wall -- oasis words five seven oh [/blockquote]

{ PULL ME CLOSER TO LOVE , }when all the buildings fall and all of the stars fade , - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The wind blew in all the right directions. Her hair off the back of her neck, but not into her face so she wouldn't be able to see. A chill creeped up her spine. A shiver shook her whole body. Goose bumps swelled up all up her arms and legs. Then the breeze ended and her body restored it calmness. The blond girl crossed her legs and placed her empty remains of lunch into the garbage bin on the other end of the bench. She scooted back towards her side, getting away from the not so obvious smell that worked its way up her nose and made her eyes water just that little bit. The smell faded once she was again on her other side and it helped the wind threw the odor in the other direction.
Kolbie picked up her phone once more, but to check her facebook. She did this when bored, it made her look occupied but open to conversation. The girl wasn't much for new people but her feet still ached and her arms were still sore and getting up and walking was not one of the options for the moment. For now, she would sit here and look preoccupied. And it didn't take too long for a lonely fish to take a bite.
All of a sudden, she felt someone in her personal space that planted a kiss on her cheek. A voice soon followed, a voice she unfortunately recognized. Noah O'Connell. He was good friends with her brother and not so much a good friend of hers. It wasn't as if she disliked him, it was just, he was off limits dating wise, and that was tempting for a boy like Noah. She gave him a soft push away from her. "Shopping isn't one of Sam's favorite pastimes. He's hanging out with friends, which is probably the reason you aren't with him." She looked at him with a smug look printed on her face. Yes, it would be odd that Sam wasn't with Kolbie, they were best friends. Same invited Kolbie to hang out with some friends but she did have some shopping to do so she had to pass it up. Which led her to this encounter.
Her feelings for Noah were confusing. She couldn't help but find herself attracted to him. His bad boy kind of vibe was really hot but he was her brother's friend which would make it awkward. And he was so annoying. I mean really? Did he really think that she and her brother were always together? Well, they kinda were. And what right did he have to just come up to her and kiss her on the cheek? Like they were dating or something. Old couples would look with a kind of an "awh look at the young couple" expression. This is why she hated boys. They were confusing and hot and bothersome and just not worth her precious, goal oriented life. But that's just what made them twice as appealing. A plus for Noah is that her mother would hate that if she was dating him. Heart attack level at most.

MAYBE YOU'RE GONNA BE THE ONE THAT SAVES ME
AND AFTER ALL, YOU'RE MY WONDER WALLNoah was a complex kid. There were a lot of traits that made him who he was and all of them were unique in their own way. Noah wasn’t a fan of living the way people wanted him to live. In fact, he was spontaneous and wild. Sometimes he deliberately did things to make other people angry. If someone told him that he couldn’t do something, he’d go out of his way to prove them wrong. So, yes, Noah had a side of him that was just like every other person in the world. He could be a jerk at times, but what set him apart from everyone else was the simple fact that he was only playing around when he was a jerk to people. Noah wasn’t what he appeared to be. In fact, he was quite the opposite. Noah was actually a gentleman when it came to the ladies in his life. He was very protective of the ones that he cared about and when someone actually sat down and analyzed him, he was a complete and total teddy bear. Noah didn’t like to appear weak, so he gave himself the tough guy façade. It worked.. most of the time.
Shopping isn't one of Sam's favorite pastimes. He's hanging out with friends, which is probably the reason you aren't with him he heard her say and all he could do was laugh. That was the type of relationship that the two of them had at that point. They would constantly give each other a hard time about random things and find humor in it. It was cute in a way. Still, Noah knew not to get very close to Kolbie due to the fact she was his friend’s sister. He couldn’t help it, though. The girl was absolutely breathtaking and she could get him to do the littlest of tasks without even trying to. Like smiling for instance. It was cute; the relationship that they had. Well, that’s the way that he saw it anyway. Noah paid a lot more attention to detail than most people did. He picked up on the looks that she gave him every now and then and quite frankly, those were the looks that he lived for. Kolbie was probably one of the most amazing girls he had ever met in his entire life and he knew exactly what he wanted. When Noah’s mind was made up, there was no getting in his way.
Aw, but you don't let him out of your sights long enough for him to know if he likes to shop or not. Duh, it's going to be boring with you. All you do is look at dresses and purses and I don't think your brother is really into that.. though I can't be completely positive, so don't quote me he joked at her. It was nice just seeing Kolbie by herself. As much as he liked Sam, Kolbie was by far the one he was interested in. In a way, it made him feel bad because he wasn’t just friends with Sam to hit on his sister. In fact, he’d been friends long before he even knew that Kolbie existed. Though, now that he did, he knew exactly where his sights were aimed. “Look, I need to go get a couple of things. I was going to go alone, but I figure it’d be much more enjoyable if I had some company. I will buy you a cup of coffee if you come with me,” he said flashing one of his smiles in her direction. Noah was typically good at charming the ladies, but there was something about Kolbie that made it hard for him to do that. It was strange, but she made him nervous. More nervous than he probably should have been around her. I’ll even go with you to get whatever it is you need to get if you haven’t gotten it already. Today was the start of a good day and he looked forward to it for once.

{ PULL ME CLOSER TO LOVE , }when all the buildings fall and all of the stars fade , - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kolbie was one of the smartest girls in her school, she wasn't boy crazy, and she wasn't one to go weak at the knees. She was shy with new people, well in person anyways. She was a sweet girl who had simple pleasures in life, pissing off her mother was one of the top, just to add emphasis to the subject. She didn't mind doing simple chores or getting down to do some hard work. She wasn't much of a party kind of person, she preferred a night at home with an order of Chinese food and a good movie. She knew when to say no and she knew when to stop asking for something. She knew her boundaries and tried her best to keep within them. Yes, you could say she was a golden child. But lately, Kolbie has started to come out of her box and see the world. She's having more fun and meeting more people. It's like ever since she escaped the world of puffy dresses, charity events, and caviar, she's been experiencing more, having more fun, being Kolbie. And she liked that.
She spoke and he seemed to listen. He laughed at her remark about him not being with Sam because they aren't friends. But that was what Noah and Kolbie were like. He made a statement, she'd laugh and he'd laugh. She'd make some bitchy comeback and he'd just laugh and she'd smile sweetly. And that's what she did, she smiled like she could win Ms. America. All she needed to get down was that wave and she'd get the crown. She, for some reason, enjoyed talking to Noah. He put on that tough guy way, but Kolbie could see right through it, as cliche as that sounded. Something was just so appealing about him. He could just say a few words and he'd have Kolbie laughing even on her most depressing, miserable, whatever title you want to put on it, day. He was Sam's best friend, and Sam would either flip with excitement, or just give them an "are you seriously crazy?" kind of look if they ever decided to be even the slightest bit more than friends. It was complicated, to the extreme max, but for now, there was really nothing for there to be complicated. Why Kolbie was thinking like this? Even this question was running through her head. Like they'd ever get together. But it was still going through her mind. And that was the part that bothered her the most.
Aw, but you don't let him out of your sights long enough for him to know if he likes to shop or not. Duh, it's going to be boring with you. All you do is look at dresses and purses and I don't think your brother is really into that.. though I can't be completely positive, so don't quote me. She laughed. "You know, Sam does have a life other than me. He only shops for 3 occasions; Christmas, birthdays, and on the rare occasion he need some more clothes." She said with a soft smile. He said he needed to get some things and would like for her to go with him, and maybe get some coffee. He even offered to go with her to get some things. "Well, as long as you aren't going shopping for any porn videos, porn magazines, or anything to make your own porn, I'll go with you. And as for coffee, you, out of most people, should know, that I am always ALWAYS up for some coffee. And I'm done shopping. Unless I should get some new feet because these are dead." She pointed to her feet. "They talk about how fun shopping is on corny teen tv shows and they're always wearing heels and with lots of shopping bags, but they never say how much your feet hurt at the end of the day..." She said with a soft laugh.

MAYBE YOU'RE GONNA BE THE ONE THAT SAVES ME
AND AFTER ALL, YOU'RE MY WONDER WALLSamuel Mackenzie was one of the most influential people in Noah’s life. It was almost like Sam was a brother that Noah never had the pleasure of having. Sam had kept Noah out of a lot of trouble in the past and it would take a couple of lifetimes for him to pay him back. It was all kind of cute when looked at in the big picture. It was only a matter of time before Sam introduced Noah to Kolbie. She was this petite blonde haired girl that managed to take his breath away from the very moment that he laid his eyes on her. It was odd, really. Noah never had an issue when it came to talking to girls. He always knew the proper things to say and the proper times to say them, but for some reason, Kolbie made him forget how to speak. It was odd and it was something he never thought that he was going to experience. Though of course, he did, and he absolutely loved the fact that she could do that to him. It was kind of like a game to him. She was the prize at the end and he wasn’t going to stop until he won the jackpot. Still, day in and day out he had to wonder what Sam was going to say or do to him when he found out about the way that Noah felt about his sister.
You know, Sam does have a life other than me. He only shops for 3 occasions; Christmas, birthdays, and on the rare occasion he need some more clothes she said with a soft smile and Noah noticed it right away. Gosh, the girl had a beautiful smile. When she smiled it was like the entire world got a little bit brighter. When she smiled it was like all of the bad in the world seemed to just disappear. Kolbie made him realize that there was much more good in the world than bad, all he had to do was look hard enough. Honestly, Noah had never found anyone like Kolbie before and he’d been a number of places looking. It was strange how much she reminded him of Sophie and his life in England. It was refreshing in a way. Well, you're partially right. He also just goes shopping for the hell of it. You forgot about that one. Sam likes to get out and have fun. Believe it or not, males do like to waste their money on pointless stuff just as much as females do he said with another small laugh. They had an odd relationship; he and Kolbie. Every day was different with them and yet at the very same time, everything was the same. They had a simple routine and Noah wouldn’t have traded it for the world.
Well, as long as you aren't going shopping for any porn videos, porn magazines, or anything to make your own porn, I'll go with you. And as for coffee, you, out of most people, should know, that I am always ALWAYS up for some coffee. And I'm done shopping. Unless I should get some new feet because these are dead. They talk about how fun shopping is on corny teen tv shows and they're always wearing heels and with lots of shopping bags, but they never say how much your feet hurt at the end of the day.. Noah didn’t really know what she was talking about since he, himself had never had the urge to wear heels before, but he sympathized for her. Well, first of all, I do know how much you like coffee and that is exactly the reason I am trying to bribe you with it. Secondly, if I could carry you around all day so you didn’t have to walk, I’d be more than happy to do so. Thirdly, I’m tired of just sitting here, let’s go he said with a grin before pushing himself up to his feet. Holding out his hand, he offered it for her to take in order to help her get up from the bench. I need some jeans. So, we’re going to go over to this shop. You can wear my shoes if you’d like. You know, so your feet don’t hurt and you stop bitching he grinned. He wasn’t going to give her his shoes, but it was still funny to think about.

{ PULL ME CLOSER TO LOVE , }when all the buildings fall and all of the stars fade , - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kolbie, while talking to the guy sitting next to her, was thinking about when they first met. The family was all together for some dinner. Mom was up to her normal bitching and Dad was just sitting reading the paper. Kolbie was watching some tv down in the den and Sam walked down the stairs, followed by another pair of footsteps. Aqua Teen Hunger Force was playing on the tv. Sam jumped over the back of the couch and took a seat next to his sister. She didn't take a look from the tv. "Who's here?" She asked finally taking her eyes away from the screen to look into her brother's own eyes. "Oh, just my friend, Noah." He said motioning his head toward the staircase. She looked over to see the handsome guy standing around. "Hey I'm Kolbie." She said with one of her sweet smiles. Wow. How long ago was that? A few years now. Three years? But it was so weird to think back like that. He was sweet then too. It was just refreshing that her brother could make good friends like that and she could mutually have them. That's how she made a lot of her friends actually. Her brother was more of the outgoing one of the family, and he had good taste in people, a taste that Kolbie could trust. But that was just the kind of person her brother was. A guy that most people could trust.
Well, you're partially right. He also just goes shopping for the hell of it. You forgot about that one. Sam likes to get out and have fun. Believe it or not, males do like to waste their money on pointless stuff just as much as females do. Well you couldn't argue with that. "Well that isn't technically shopping. I mean shopping talking about shopping legitly. And besides, not all of us girls go shopping for pointless stuff. I only go shopping when I really need to. You're being stereotypical, my friend, and I don't think I appreciate it. Actually, I know I don't appreciate it!" She said with a smile and a nudge. She loved having someone to talk too. At school, she only had a few friends she had classes with that she could really talk to. She doesn't have a roommate, which is a bitter sweet kind of thing. She loves the privacy, but hates the whole being alone all the time thing. It's just, she wished she had someone to really talk to, she had Sam, but she'd like someone to talk to about girl stuff. But she had Noah to annoy, which was a major plus.
Well, first of all, I do know how much you like coffee and that is exactly the reason I am trying to bribe you with it. Secondly, if I could carry you around all day so you didn’t have to walk, I’d be more than happy to do so. Thirdly, I’m tired of just sitting here, let’s go she just had to smile. Something about Noah just always made her smile. The carrying remark just was such a wonderful idea. "Well, first off!" She mocked. "Bribing will get you everywhere my friend! Second off, carrying me sounds like an amazing idea. I like the fireman way the best. But piggy back would be less work for you. Thirdly, I am too, Sitting is quite boring. I would definitely like to go." He got up and offered her a hand. She grabbed his hand and pulled on it to help her up. I need some jeans. So, we’re going to go over to this shop. You can wear my shoes if you’d like. You know, so your feet don’t hurt and you stop bitching. She laughed again. "Well, you'll be carrying me, so that won't be a problem." She unstrapped her heels and held them and positioned herself to jump up on his back.

MAYBE YOU'RE GONNA BE THE ONE THAT SAVES ME
AND AFTER ALL, YOU'RE MY WONDER WALLIt was weird to think about how long that Noah had actually known Kolbie. It was weird to think about how long he had had this odd little.. crush like feelings for her. Ever since the day he saw her watching television all by herself, he knew that she was different. Kolbie wasn't like all of the other girls around Santa Ria. She was different in her own way and that was probably what Noah liked the most about her. She didn't let people push her around and tell her what she needed to do with her life. She knew exactly what she wanted and she knew exactly the steps she needed to take in order to get there. For being only seventeen years old, Kolbie knew exactly what she wanted out of life and Noah respected her for that. There were a lot of different things that Noah loved about her and it would take him an entire lifetime to be able to explain them all to someone. So, naturally, he didn't even try to. It would have just confused him even further. After Sophie, he had given up on girls. He reassured himself that there was no one else out there that was as good as she was and could make him feel as amazing as she did, but the longer he watched the smile on Kolbie's face, the more he doubted his conclusion. It was strange, all Noah seemed to want to do was make Kolbie smile. Whether it was from embarrassing himself or doing something nice for her, it seemed as if her smile left her face for more than a second, he'd have some kind of mental breakdown. It was odd, but Noah didn't want it any other way. He liked making her smile and he liked keeping her happy. Call it one of his life goals.
Well that isn't technically shopping. I mean shopping talking about shopping legitly. And besides, not all of us girls go shopping for pointless stuff. I only go shopping when I really need to. You're being stereotypical, my friend, and I don't think I appreciate it. Actually, I know I don't appreciate it she vented and all he could he do was laugh a little. She was adorable when she tried to defend herself like that. It was fun for Noah to be able to have someone to pick on like Kolbie. She didn't get bent out of shape when he joked around with her. Instead, she joked back and just played around. She was easy going and he liked being able to talk to her whenever he wanted to. I am kind of stereotypical, yes. I will give you that, but I'm also completely correct and you know it. You're just trying to win this little battle we've got going on. I've known you for awhile, Kolb, and you're the first one to jump all over a shopping trip. he said with a victory nod. Noah was a competitive guy. Given the fact he was a jock, he didn't particularly like to lose things, though, when it came to these little scraps that he and Kolbie held every now and then, he didn't mind losing. In all actuality, Noah was probably wrong about her being the first to jump on a shopping trip chance. Girls were girls and Noah was just in the dark about them as the next male. He just liked to act like he knew what was going on.
Well, first off! Bribing will get you everywhere my friend! Second off, carrying me sounds like an amazing idea. I like the fireman way the best. But piggy back would be less work for you. Thirdly, I am too, Sitting is quite boring. I would definitely like to go. he grinned and shook his head. The girl was full of spunk and he liked that about her. Once she was on her feet, she took off her heels and assumed the position to where she was going to jump on his back. Shaking his head with a grin, he turned around to where his back was facing her. He prepared himself for her to jump on his back. Noah had absolutely no problem with carrying her through the town. She was relatively light and he was a strong guy. It wasn't the worst possible punishment in the world. Alright, jump on. Let's go he said with a grin. The store wasn't far from where they were standing, so it wasn't going to be that much work for him. How'd you get here anyway? Are you needing a ride home or something? Because I have absolutely no problem giving you a lift notes they will be completely and utterly EPIC tagged kolbie <3 lyrics wonder wall -- oasis words eight one five [/blockquote]
