L U C A S - J A M E S - B E N J A M I N ,
nicknames ,luke.
age ,seventeen.
occupation ,student, works as a waiter at his mom's restaurant
member group ,senior.
personality ,
funny, gullible, stupid, nice enough, outgoing, straightforward, manwhore, can be a bit of a jackass, has no ambition, forgetful, procrastinates, self-centered, can't hold down a relationship or a job.
family ,mother - mary benjamin - thirty-four years old. high school dropout (when she got knocked up with luke). now owns a successful restaurant surprisingly - was given a lot of slack from her parents.
father - james collingwood - was forced to move away before mary knew she was pregnant, and they lost contact.
grandfather - jeremiah benjamin
grandmother - karolyn benjamin
history ,luke was born in boron, california on the third of september. the events leading up to his life weren't particularly honorable, but most kids were born that way, he figured at an early age, anyways. accidents upon accidents. that's why the world was still spinning, right? well, still... even if it was technically the preferred way to have a kid in this day and age, luke's grandfather was still pretty upset when his baby girl told him she got knocked up and that the father had moved away without leaving any contact. he didn't believe her at first, figuring that it was a joke or even if she would go so far as to get pregnant she'd be lying about the boy to make sure he didn't get his head smashed in by one pissed off daddy. whatever he thought, she was, in fact, telling the truth.
luke's grandpa owned a general store in boron - the freaking desert - and soaked up a lot of the minicule business. he'd tell you the reason he valued the boring hellhole in the middle of nowhere was because he was an ex-marine (well, he'd tell you "once a marine, always a marine") and he liked the simplicity. thing was, there was no way for the family to scrape up a sufficient living at the general store - even if luke's grandmother was working part time at a floral shop as well. pipes kept breaking in their makeshift house and there was no way at all to contact the rest of the world there. luckily and unluckily, luke's great grandfather - who was still alive at this time, simply because both generations had gotten pregnant young - worked for a of small - but sufficient - modeling agency. he raked in the cash and when he died he left his home and his money to his son - his wife already dead.
and so, when luke was about ten, they moved to the santa ria area to live in his great gramp's home, and the young boy was soon caught up in the hustle and bustle of actual civilization. this beat boron by a long shot. there, luke's mom started a business - still living today with her grandparents and luke in their great grandpa's home - that was sponsored by the amount of money her parents had sectioned off for her to start her new life on. the restaurant became rather successful, surprisingly enough. luke worked there on the side as he grew up, not getting paid. his mother figured that if she provided for him, she was the one who earned his tips. and he got a lot of tips, particularly from girls who valued his long brown hair and bright blue eyes.
luke went to hakebourne academy for schooling. in his latest years there, he had begun to be considered by many people a first-class manwhore. hey, he was following his mother's own twisted path. and if you want an elaboration on how he started just sleeping around? he just liked it. he'd lost his virginity during a fling. and holding a relationship was seriously tough. why not just get some pleasure out of life while you still can?
during his stay at the academy, he didn't really do much. he was on the soccer team for a little bit - goalie - but he had quit after a year. still, he does like to juggle with a ball from time to time or take a few shots at the brick wall of the building his family lived in from time to time to clear his head. it's more of a hobby than a prospect for a career. and luke never really had that much ambition. at a young age, he figured everything would come to him. who needed grades when you were in california? he could make it as a model or an actor.
however, the closing of his school was pretty sudden, and his family hadn't expected it. then, they realized that norrington academy - a once girls only school - was now allowing boys to come over from hakebourne. luke didn't complain about being placed in a school of girls. he wasn't too sexist. maybe a womanizer, but still.... lotsa of girls meant lotsa of fun, right? so, now it's senior year and he's attending norrington.

&&. Dim light showered through the canopy of trees, the only thing that prevented the forest from being shrouded in absolute darkness. It fell downwards at angles in between branches that made the moonlight look like luminescent shards of glass on the dew-wettened and glittering ground. The air was cool, dampened with humidity, but still ominously cold. A soft wind glided through the woods, heaving a soft moan to chill your bones and send your heart thundering in your chest. The breeze smelled of rain and of soaked dirt and grass. It smelled of animals hiding safe away in their burrows, the stench of their fear for the looming huge thunderheads above tainting everything. Everything about the forest tonight was foreboding. And yet it was also beckoning. The danger that resided there just seemed to call out to you, pulling you in like water to a drain.
&&. These alluring forces had a rather strong effect over Jason at the moment, coaxing him in with little to no effort. He had been telling himself on his way down to the grounds that this was a good idea... It was time to clear his mind at the very least. And that was more than he could do in the lounge or in the common room. Too many people. Too many voices shoving his problems right in front of his face. He needed a distraction... And, at the moment, there were probably only two things that could distract him right now. Sex - well, he was a guy after all - or running. Jason smiled a little as he finally came to a halt within the woodland he had been walking through. Looking around the clearing, a mist seeming to settle around him at that moment, he rolled his shoulders and shook his limbs a little bit to loosen them before proceeding to bend all the way downward. By the time, his hands touched the ground, however, they were no longer hands. They were rather broad, block-like paws that led into long, powerful legs and huge, muscled shoulders. With a shake of the shaggy fur that now covered his body, Jason peered around with new eyes, able to distinguish more trees and shrubs in the distance than he could as a human. Finding a good, long path through the trees without too many obstacles, Jason's eyes glinted playfully and he was off...
&&. Paws pounded the ground, sending tufts of wet grass and sod spraying into the air behind him. He felt his forelegs strain forward in anticipation to meet the ground before him, the jerky pull of his lengthy muscles somehow pleasurable. His eyes were watering with the fog battering against them and the only thing he could make out now was the occasional shrub in front of him, the tips of his paws grazing them as he bounded over. Jason panted quietly, letting what might have been animal instinct take over him. It felt so good to get out of the damn, heart-throbbing human world. Just for a second. To live in the moment in an animal's universe. Finally, however, he skidded to a stop, his breathing raggedy and his heart thudding harshly. His ears angled upward as he let his gaze fall around, trying to get his bearing on where he was and if he should run any further or just turn around and go back. He had been running through the woods at a horizontal angle and from where he stood, he could see where the trees ended and bunches of grass began... Not thinking about anything but stationary concerns - which was a relief for once - Jason morphed back into his human form, standing up and cocking his head to the side, a hand raised to rub it.
