history ,
- - - baylee cooper rhys was born into a very wealthy family on the first of february nineteen years ago. his great-great grandfather had started a very successful and profitable business in the early nineteen twenties, and his sons continued on with the business, including cooper's father. cooper's mother, georgina, came from old french money that was made from wine making. edward and georgina met when they were twenty at yale university. edward was studying to become a man of business like his fathers before him, and georginia was studying literature and history. after a whirlwind romance that lasted only a year, the two married in a lavish ceremony in new york city. after about two years, edward and georgina's first child was born, a boy named pascal.
three years later, edward moved his pregnant wife and son to california, where the business took the small but ever-growing rhys family. nearly six months later, the rhys' welcomed another boy into the world, named baylee cooper rhys. with two healthy boys, edward and georginia believed that their family couldn't get any better. then, not quite fifteen months later, the rhys' welcomed a baby girl, named kenzie. things for the rhys family went on splendidly and rather uneventfully for the next several years. little baylee cooper rhys started kindergarten on year later than his peers, as his mother was partial to letting her youngest son leave her care. however, aside from the afore mentioned event, cooper's academic life was filled with prep schools and friends in high places.
the next eighteen years of cooper's life went on splendidly, and somewhat uneventful save for a few things here and there. that was until the summer before his senior year. his parents, always the victorian-aged inspired couple, decided to transfer cooper from his former school to norrington. having gone to his all-male prep school since the sixth grade, he was surprised, angered and shocked to hear his parents tell him that he would be attending norrington academy for his senior year. the reason? he would be getting married to a girl he had only see a handful of times before coming to norrington, which will take place shortly after their graduation from norrington. and what better way to get to know his future bride than to attend school with her.

HEY THERE, I'M SARAH AND I'M INFINITY YEARS OLD! I'VE BEEN RUNNING AROUND THE ROLEPLAY WORLD FOR TWO+ YEARS AND YOU CAN CHECK OUT MY ROLEPLAY SAMPLE BELOW! AS YOU CAN SEE, I'M USING CHRISTOPHER WHITELAW PINE AS THE PLAY-BY FOR THIS CHARACTER. OH, AND MY OTHER CHARACTERS ARE YOUR FACE (NONE)!
Finishing up his last shot, Skye closed his left eye as his right focused completely on beautiful model in front of him. Having been in the same place since eight that morning, Skye Alexander Munroe was growing restless. Yes, he loved his job and yes, he loved the people he met and the "rewards"--mainly the models who were willing to sleep with him to further their careers--he got from it, but taking pictures of insecure, rail-thin models all day long could be exhausting. As a matter of fact, he didn't even need a job. But photography had always been Skye's passion. Women, friends, enemies, clothing styles and the seasons came and went, but a camera and someone beautiful picture could always remain faithful to Skye.
Finally, after talking to with the art director about whether or not to call it a day, Skye finally convinced the old, pot-bellied man to go home to his beautiful, young wife and brand new baby girl. Whether or not the director knew Skye's true reasons for wanting to leave, he was still more than happy to leave. As he clocked out and made sure he had not lost any of his camera gear or rolls of film, he opened the heavy metal door that lead from the large, two story empty warehouse building to the outside of New York City.
A cool, chilly and fast breeze greeted Skye's bare face and he smiled as he adjusted his black backpack over his shoulder. He wasn't hungry, but the food on set had been delicious and almost gone untouched thanks to the insecure and nervous, who ate salads instead of the ribs and slaw for the sack of their "diets". However, he did need a giant dose of java in order to make it through the ride home. The subway always made Skye uncomfortable and it was simply too cold to walk the eighteen blocks. Nor did Skye Munroe want to arrive at on the photo shoot in his newly purchased BMW. Especially since he would be taking his car out in the city. A big "no-no" in Skye's book. Not to mention the "look" he'd receive when he pulled up in a flashy new car. Again.
The Starbucks was only a few minutes from the subway, and so, with the java monkey loudly pointing to his usual caramel Frap, Skye opened the door and felt the warm air and smelled the sugar from the pastries. After purchasing his usual caramel Frappicino and a blueberry muffin, he took a seat by the window that was furthest from the door. He didn't feel like consistently being attacked by cold air and unfamiliar faces. Pulling out his muffin, he took a bite directly from the center and sat with his back against the seat, his legs wide out in the open and his eyes glazed over. Yes, this is what he needed.
